At first light of Wednesday, January 29th.a four member volunteer crew was deployed with a rib vessel to locate and assist a Dutch flag sailing boat that radioed “trouble” during a storm and it was reported missing since Tuesday early evening in the Saronikos Gulf. Supporting and parallel working with the coastguard always under full communication and coordination, our team searched a designated area, but no luck.
Note worthy that we got engaged to this rescue mission, late Tuesday night, with a group of four volunteer rescuers that performed a coastline Search, under fully cooperation with the Lavrio port coastguard, within the night storm and cold conditions.
